Drill Guide/Template and Cleat Backers for Seadoo Retractable Cleats

This kit will make installing the Seadoo Retractable Cleat easier. It comes with a drill guide/template and 2 backers for the cleats.

Installation:

• Make sure to use the correct side of the drill template. "This Face Up" is marked on the side that should be facing up. The center hole is slightly offset.
• Use the drill guide/template to drill 5 holes using a 1/4" (6mm) bit. In my case, I used drill portion of the 1" Milwaukee Hole Dozer.
• Now you can cut the two cutouts for the cleat to drop in using a 1" (25M) hole saw. Again, I used the 1" Milwaukee Hole Dozer.
• You will need to notch the little section so the cleat will drop in. In my case, I used the side of a flat file and did about 10 good swipes.
• Now you can put the backers on from the inside of the hull and complete the remaining of the installation of the cleat.
